Blight discovered on some of the tomato plants! Blight is a disease spread by a fungal like organism which quickly results in decay of branches and foliage of plants. It thrives on wet weather :( With the fairly inconsistent Summer we had it was not a surprise, but so sad nonetheless!
Kate pulled some infected plants out completely, pruned some plants back hard that were not too badly damaged, and harvested green tomatoes hoping they would ripen in her studio (for eating but also for seed saving).
