Guillem and Kate continue building a compost!

Now to assemble the doors, made from wooden pallets reinforced with boards.

The compost structure in the end consists of Guillem's yellow bin for food/kitchen scraps and a two bay open compost, the first of which is for fresh garden waste to first break down in before the contents of the yellow bin and first bay are mixed and placed in the second bay to further decompose.

cutting and finding pieces to fit!

we explained the system to our friendly
neighbours who are also invited to add to
the compost - some clippings from
their garden too :)

doors installed with latches for easy removal for
the moments we have to turn the piles over

with some extra hand cut wooden Junghun pieces
to cover pointy screw ends :)
what a beauty it is!!! <3 <3 <3
